Data protection

Based on the legal framework of mandatory adoption of electronic invoicing by suppliers of public entities within the scope of public contracts, regulated in Decree-Law no. -B/2017, of 31 August, Saphety provides implementation support services to its clients’ Public Entities, promoting adhesion to the Suppliers of these entities, namely through the establishment of partnerships with software houses with certified invoicing systems.

In accordance with the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council, of 27 April 2016, on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and the free movement of such data, commits to use the shared data within the restricted scope of the services associated with the process of signing up for electronic invoicing.

The personal data of Suppliers made available to Saphety, either by themselves or by their Partners on their behalf, will be included in the database managed by Saphety and used for the following purposes, within the scope of the subscription process identified in point 2 of this declaration:

I. Commercial contacts (email and telephone);
II. Communications relating to commercial proposals (email);
III. Communications related to service delivery after award (email).
